*At a cost of more than ten million dollars, this is the biggest and tallest religious structure in Armenia. It was inaugurated officially in September of 2001 in presence of Pope and other dignitaries.
*Mashtots street toward Madenadaran which is currently closed for renovations. "Mother Armenia" monument is right behind Madenadaran on a hilltop in Victory park.
*One of several street vendors who bear the cold winter to make a meager living by selling sunflower seeds and other snacks to passers by, Sometimes the chilling cold goes through their bones but they have no choice.
*Footstep of Armenian Memorial Cascades, going up the long stairs the city can be seen with Ararat mountain in the background. Summer time has cafe's lined up at the bottom.
*'Shaake' water falls in Sisian. It is one of the most beautiful places in Armenia, visited by many every year.

*One winter day in Republic Square. A sunny not so cold day where people were out. Directly ahead is one of the government buildings surrounding the square.
*An old man trying to make a living by selling sun flower seeds on a sidewalk in the cold winter. A typical scene which makes one ask why? but it also proves the will of this hardened people for survival.

*Karabala statue standing on Abovyan street, as he used to where he used to give beautiful flowers to all girls who would walk by. He was supposed to be relocated to make way for the new North Ave.
*St. Gregor church, still not completely finished, many visitors go to this newest addition in Yerevan for religious reasons.
Haghartsin monastery is from 10th to 13th Century. It is located a few miles north of Dilijan. The surroundings of this monastery is a lush forest. Beautiful all around.
A typical busy day in Vernisaj where vendors and shoppers, mostly tourists gather. Every Saturday and Sunday vendors display their goods, beautiful handmade items, books, etc..

*Botanical Garden in Yerevan. Unfortunately it has been neglected in last ten years, but it still is a place for strolling.
Noravank is on the way to Karabakh, if you are going that way, pay a visit.

*Karmravor church is a 7th Century survivor in Ashtarak. It is of a very small size (only 6m by 7.5 m or 18 ft by 22 ft). This church is well preserved for its age. It is definitely worth a visit.
Looking toward post office and - one of the lowest priced hotels in Yerevan at Republic Square close to everything, this hotel because of it's low prices sometimes runs out of rooms in high seasons. It has a few services including a discotheque and Internet access, a coffee shop open till late hours, nursing service and so on. To the right of the hotel going straight is the new Church of St Gregor.

 *Old Devil's bridge over a river in Sisian. It's called the Devil's bridge because there are no railing on the bridge.
Street buses in Yerevan, some operate on natural gas as well as regular gasoline, the bus in front has it's gas tanks on top. The wires hanging are for electric buses and tramways.
*A collection of four pictures taken from top of the hill in old Yerevan. People still use this for transportation up and down the hill and there is a nice view from the top.
*Abovyan Street, above Sayat Nova, a little walk from Republic Square.
*Behind the Republic Square, where Vernisaj starts. Every Saturday and Sunday, just ask anyone on the streets, they'll tell you where to go!
*This is a grainy picture of Republic Square in winter, the water in the pool has been emptied, people sit on benches around the pool, front left is the gate that goes to Erebuni hotel. Hotel Armenia and Abovyan St. to the right.
*3rd district square of Yerevan, where most shops of the district and the metro station is located at. The statue is of Spandaryan and the metro entrance below it.

*Mashtots Street in fall, one of the more expensive and prestigious streets in Yerevan.
